Wildcat Relays Preview

Next up for Warrior Distance is the Wildcat Relay Meet held at Chico State, in magical Chico, California. This meet will test the Warrior's minds, brains, and heads as mental toughness will be a key component of this meet. Most of the team is doubling up, running a leg in a Distance Medley Relay as well as an individual event such as a 3k, 1500, or 3k Steeplechase. So far, the men's teams for the DMR are as follows:

Team Headband:
1200: Shane Brookshire
400: Jerome Johnson (hopefully)
800: Dawson Vorderbruegge
1600: Joey Nunes

Team Get Some:
1200: Palmer Thiele
400: Amar Bhatia
800: Martin Ramos
1600: Eric Gutierrez

As you can see, it will be a tight race to claim the title of Top DMR Crew. As of yet, the women's relay teams are undecided, but it will prove to be a tight and captivating race as well. The Wildcat Relays should be a fun time and a great workout for the Warriors, as long as they can keep from being bewitched by the daunting double!
